| This was my son's first trip to New York, and Yankee Stadium. We decided to make it a vacation and leave on July 3, 2008 and return home on July 13, 2008. He absolutely loved riding the subway, city bus and without a doubt enjoyed the double decker tour bus. We saw the Museum of Natural History, Times Square, Battery Park, Harlem, Ground Zero and rode the ferry. We also visited the Central Park Zoo which was amazing considering I didn't even know there was a zoo there. I would have to say that Will's favorite thing to do was to ride the subway. He really loves Thomas the train so it fit right into his interests. Myself, on the other hand, enjoyed watching the yankees play 6 games at yankees stadium. This will be the last year that the Yankees play in Yankee stadium with the new stadium set to open up at the start of the 2009 season. |
