This website has been designed to serve as a resource for students
in TSL 4240 Issues in Second Language Acquisition. It contains three sections:
The first section, ESOL Strategies
That Work, is a compilation of effective classroom activities submitted by TSL
4240 students while participating in the Service Learning Project.
The second section, Language
Differences, explores aspects of various languages, contrasting them to
English.
The third section, Cultural
Differences, surveys several cultural backgrounds English Language Learners
(ELLs) might have experienced.
