Hi there! My name is Bill Wood and I'm currently enrolled in the graduate Technical Writing program at UCF. Ideally, I would have preferred to pursue a degree in Professional Writing, but that has yet to be offered. Right now, my goal is to one day pen non-fiction literature for children and/or young teens. I'm volunteering at the Writing Center because I've been told I'm pretty good at writing and think I have a lot to offer those who are seeking to improve their own writing skills.

Personally, I never really aspired to be a writer of any kind. When I first enrolled at UCF in a graduate capacity I chose the criminal justice field. But after working in that profession for the past 18+ years, I decided I wanted to explore what I truly liked and what everyone had been telling me was my strongest attribute. So here I am ready to pass on what I've learned and what I think your professors will expect from you.
