Outreach projects:

Literacy event for Read Across America:
We hope this will be a collaboration between multiple colleges in the state
of Florida. Our desire is to have a large project at a local mall, school,
or park. The goal is to collect books and literacy activities to donate
to local school children. We would also love to have special guests such
as members of the UF and UCF football teams to read at literature centers.
Face painting, games, and other activities could be provided.

“Boxes of Hope”: Boxes filled with school supplies
like pens, pencils, erasers, paper clips, post-it notes, and rulers to
donate to classrooms in our local schools.
