Welcome
back for another great semester! Juniors congrats on making it this far, and
seniors you are almost there! If you haven’t gotten involved in SNA yet, it is
not too late! SNA at UCF is a great opportunity for student nurses to become
involved in the community and learn leadership skills. It is also a great place
to meet new people and have a lot of fun!
The dates for upcoming SNA
meetings have been set! Each month, meetings will take place on the first Tuesday
of each month at 11 am!
Great things are coming up this
semester! Get ready for fun events such as March of Dimes (Feb 27), Relay for
Life (April 1), and ALS walk (April 8). Stay tuned for more information
regarding these events.
We are working on setting some
dates to serve our community through Ronald McDonald house. Stay tuned to find
out what those dates will be and how to sign up!

Guest Speakers
SNA will be providing guest speakers from different specialties of nursing to come and speak to you about their profession, how to get into it and ask them personal questions you may not be able to find on the internet.
So far the ideas we are working on are a Nurse Practitioner, Pediatrics, Travel Nursing, OR Nurse, Hospice, ER/Flight Nursing, Midwives, S.A.N.E. (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), a recent graduate of UCF, and Dr. Daily (who teaches you how to be more healthy).
