Public Relations Through Employee Involvement


The UCF Police Department encourages our employees to get involved not only preventing crime on campus but get involved in reporting suspicious behavior. This program has been very successful in stopping crime on campus. During employee orientations and college department meetings, officers discuss ways how university employees can help.

On February 21, 2002, four Building Services employees were rewarded by the Director of Business Services and Director of the Department of Public Safety and Police for outstanding services in stopping the Vending Machine Bandit II.
