A National Fan Club dedicated to the Knight Rider TV Show

When the UCF Knight Riders Car Club was conceived back in 1995,
we had anticipated to be solely a car club dedicated to classic
muscle cars.

However, since the mascot of the University Of Central Florida is
the Knight, someone joked that we should call our new organization
the Knight Riders..... Well, the name stuck.

As our club grew, it became obvious that the name drew attention
to fans of the old 1980's action series, Knight Rider. After a
year, it became clear that this show had an extremely loyal following,
even ten years after its cancellation.

Several members of our car club wanted to start a fan club for
Knight Rider. So back in August 1996, we laid down plans for a
Knight Rider Fan Club. Our fan club became offically affiliated
with Universal Domestic Television in early 1998 (during the
television run of the syndicated Team Knight Rider). This club
is a proud and successful divison of the UCF Knight Riders Car
& Truck Enthusiast Association.

The fan club has grown to 400 members. The Knight Rider Legacy
continues to live on, and its fans have never been more loyal.
Our club serves to help Knight Rider Collectors, distribute the
latest news in the community and assist in the building of
replica vehicles.

Our members have been very excited about the upcoming KNIGHTCON2000,
our second Knight Rider National Convention in Orlando, Florida.
Currently, we have scheduled to appear: 4-5 KITT conversions, KARR, the
Knight 4000, and (although unconfirmed at the moment) the actual vehicles
used in Team Knight Rider.

We have many plans for the future and you are invited to join us!
