WTKS 104.1 presents...
MONSTERS OF THE MIDDAY

You wanted the best?  You got the best!  The hottest talk show in the mid day Is the monsters of the midday!!!  Russ Rollins, Bubba "Whoop Ass" Wilson, Dirty Jim, Daniel Dennis, Blackbean, The Sexy Savannah, and Jeff Howell are live on real radio 104.1 every monday through friday from approx. 10:30a.m. (whenever Howard Stern's over) till 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

So how did these reckloose misfits get to be the number one midday radio show in the nation, if not the world?  One only needs to spend an afternoon glued to their radios to find out why.  whether it's dirty jim berating a caller over the 100,000 watt airwaves, or if its the 'mystery guest', or jeff howell plugging 'Cricketeer Arms' (where he'll be playing this friday, if you were wondering), the monsters of the midday have been entertaining all of central florida for years... and they're only getting better.

This is just a little bit about who the monsters are, and why they've become a staple in central florida... ... ...

Russ Rollins.  AKA... Triple R, M.C. Sammich, and my personal favorite, Stank Fatterson!!!  Russ Rollins is the leader of this 'mess a merry men', who founded the show to promote his former business adventure.  the show really took off, and while he's lost a player or two along the way, russ is responsible for putting together the most entertaining team of radio personalities in america.  donning the guise of 'M.C. Sammich', Rollins is also responsible for "Call ya mama", my favorite Triple r song.

Dirty Jim.  AKA... Well... Dirty Jim.  In my honest opinion, Dirty jim is the funniest memeber of the monsters bunch.  Why?  Well we share the same type of humor... Jimmy's very sarcastic, often times getting a little 'rough' if you will, on the callers, guests, and his fellow monsters.  Dirty jim is russ rollins's brother in law, but sometimes you couldn't tell by the on air arguements they've had!  jimmy's jokes sometimes miss the mark, but I can relate to the way he carries himself on air, and aside from savannah, he's probably my favorite monster.  dirty jim's also a sideline correspondant for the XFL's Orlando Rage.  Way to go, jimmy!

Bubba "Whoop Ass" Wilson.  AKA... the redneck messiah.  The damn musical genius.  bubba wilson comes to us via louisiana and the infamous band 'clutch' (maybe you've heard of them?) with jeff howell.  bubba's a bona fide redneck... but the man really is a musical talent unlike no other.  From "Peanuts Are Four Dollars" and "The beer song" to the wildy popular and successful "southern girl", bubba 'whoop ass' wilson always has his hand in the mix when it comes to the great monster songs we hear every day.  bubba's worked with local and national talent as well!  and let's not forget the 'correct me if I'm wrong', in which bubba gives us a little insight into his southern life.  and if you don't like it... he'll take you out behind gregg's western wear and whoop your damn @ss!!!

Jeff howell.  AKA... The phenomenal bad ass of downtown.  Got anything to plug, jeff?  Actually, the old red dog is as musically gifted as mr. whoop ass, and when he writes a song, it's a sure fire hit.  Jeff is also known for his infamous laugh (ha... ha... ha... ha... ha...), and the 'silent treatment' incident some months ago.  it's a shame jeff's best friend on the show is the crickets... that reminds me, Jeff'll be at cricketeer arms this Friday night ... ... ...

The sexy savannah.  aka... The possum queen.  what words can describe the sexy savannah that haven't already been used? ... she's everything and anything any man would want... she's funny, drop dead gorgeous, down to earth, and has a heart of gold.  who cares if her poems are sometimes hard to grasp?  savannah comes to us via south carolina, and after being the russ and bo overnight 'stripper', she became a regular with songs like 'Monster Bitch' and 'Me and my son'.  savannah is at every event, with a big smile on her face, and she's got all the men (and some of the women) gettin' to know her!  we love you savannah!!!

Daniel dennis.  Aka ... the zany kraut, the tiny little man.  daniel used to be the producer of the drew garabo show (which was the first show I started listening to when I started listening to Real radio), and he was an instant hit.  the kid's hilarious!!  once daniel made the move to the midday show, the show's never looked back.  'serial Lover'' is without a doubt my favorite monster song.  daniel's also responsible for 'I've gotta move on', as well as producing some of savannah's hits.  most people can't appreciate or understand daniel's on air personality, but he says what we're thinking, and that might be a tough pill to swallow, but daniel keeps me laughing all day long.  Daniel also does the best of the monsters show along with blackbean on saturday mornings.  keep up the good work daniel!

Blackbean.  AKA... Lover los!!!  Bean was the monster intern, but did such a great job that he's on full time now.  bean has arguably the most popular bit on the show, the 'Prize hoopty', which also spawned another great monster song 'Wow!  Look at this!'  bean is a jack of all trades (heh heh... he said jack), doing everything from entertaining on air, to producing, to working the phones, to being on the scene for monster events.  he's also the monster designated driver. :)  bean kicks all forms of @ss on the show.

Of course there's so much more that the monsters do for central florida... miss monster, bikeweek, monsterween, not to mention the local gigs all over the monsters play, the mosnter section in the xfl citrus bowl, they back ucf, the orlando magic, love rasslin', and i think that's what makes them so likeable... they're ability to relate.  Because they'll be the first to tell you... they're you, they're me, they're just a bunch of regular guys who get to entertain us every afternoon.  and entertain us they do, as the monsters are #1 in the ratings books consistently.  From this monster fan, I just want to say how much I appreciate everything you guys do for us... making us laugh, making us think, giving us the 'six things you just knew you'd talk about', making our days go by a little faster.  You bring a gift to central florida every day... and for that, we appreciate everything ya'll do for us.  You are, indeed, the best.  now ya'll ain't gotta go home, but ya'll gotta get your shoes, and get the hell up outta here!!!  True....................
