NeoCyte BioPharma has developed stem cell technology to cure
neurodegenerative diseases and speed up drug development. The company focuses its efforts on finding cures by modifying a patient's own
cells to create personalized cell lines for replacement therapies.Additionally, our technology platform improves drug screening to speed
up drug development and identify novel mechanisms of action. Our proprietary systems expand the potential cells have to develop into different tissues by reversing the differentiation process. This unique approach gives adult stem cells the potential of embryonic stem cells, while avoiding their ethical and clinical limitations. We will focus on curing neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's,
stroke, etc. and plan to license the application of our technology for
other therapies like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc. to
different corporations.
The time it takes to clear the FDA approval process determines how
soon we can bring our therapies to market, which is an average of
about 8 years. We intend to apply the use of our therapy towards rare
pediatric neuropathologies associated with HIV infection. Given the
small market, the FDA creates an incentive where we can qualify for
accelerated review under the Orphan Drug Act and bring our product to
market two years earlier, while providing an unmet clinical need.
To generate revenue, we apply our platform to develop stem cells into
multiple tissues to screen drug effects on multiple cell types. This
strategy allows us to generate revenue while improving the necessary
infrastructure to bring out therapies to market. |
