In this course, you have a mid-term and final examination. The final is not cumulative. Format for examinations is generally essay questions, but "objective" sections may also appear on either or both the mid-term and final.
It is possible that review questions will appear on-line as links in the syllabus, but note that both texts for the course contain review questions on the readings. External readings (those used in addition to the texts) will probably not include review questions.
The message board (the link appears in the syllabus) is useful in studying for exams by creating an on-line discussion group. In my experience, one of the best ways to study for tests is to work with other people in the class. Someone could set up a meeting in one of the library study rooms, or (this has been done in the past) somebody invites other people to their house or apartment and people compare notes, eat pizza, ask each other questions, and prepare that way. One very effective way to find out what you know is to try to explain an issue, concept, or argument to someone else. If you find yourself at a loss for words, you know you have much more work to do.
