Here at the University of Central Florida, I am Assistant Vice President and Director of Distributed Learning.

Vocational Education

I am also an Associate Professor of Vocational Education. Our Vocational Education Program is currently being converted to Web-based instruction with all of our courses being taught as fully Web-based courses. We have begun with the courses offered for the initial certification of non-degreed vocational teachers. The balance of our undergraduate vocational education and graduate vocational education courses are being offered through the Web as well.

Central Florida Consortium of Higher Education

I am UCF representative to the Central Florida Consortium of Higher Education.

The Consortium is made up of the University of Central Florida and seven neighboring community colleges: Brevard, Central Florida, Daytona Beach, Indian River, Lake-Sumter, Seminole and Valencia.

Florida Education and Employment Council for Women and Girls

I am also a member of the Florida Education and Employment Council for Women and Girls. I have been the principal investigator for this state grant since its inception in 1988.
