Will have some snacks and drinks.
We will soon be making easter baskets for needy kids. Please obtain any candy or
items that we can use to make the baskets. We will assemble them at a
later date, but if you would like to bring in some items early that is great. We
will email the date when we will assemble the baskets. If you would like to (and even
if you wouldn't) please come help us make a kids day a little brighter. You can
bring some candy if you like and you can volunteer to take the baskets to Arnold
Palmer Hospital too. See you there!!! If you are a member
or wish to be one and/or do not currently receive emails, please notify one of
the SHIMA Officer.

There will be a two-hour session by Stacie Buck
RHIA, CCS-P, LHRM, RCC. She
is the incoming President for FHIMA. She will speak on "All About You"
which will be about getting involved in the organization and will give an update
on FHIMA.

2007 FHIMA SCHOLARSHIPS INFORMATION
Florida
Health Information Management Association is
pleased to announce a continued support of individuals pursuing Health
Information Management careers. FHIMA has again voted to provide
scholarships this year to students enrolled in both undergraduate and
graduate studies related to the Health Information Management field.
Your completed scholarship
application and required attachments must be received by the FHIMA
Scholarship Chairperson no later than published deadline.

Whos Who Scholarship
Who's Who Among Students is a prestigious honor given to Undergraduate
and Graduate students who show exceptional leadership, service, and
scholastic achievement. Students are recognized throughout the campus,
as well as on a national level. Recipients of this award are eligible
for scholarships through the national Who's Who organization and the
Student Government Association at the University of Central Florida.
To be eligible, students must meet credit hour and GPA requirements, and
show active participation in campus and/or community involvement. You
