CHM 2210 Final Exam (Updated 4/19/12, 1:45 PM)
Besides the review session(s) announced and posted at the beginning of class there is a Final Exam review session Saturday, April 21, from 3:00-5:00 pm, Student Union, Room 316CD.
Our final exam is scheduled
by UCF officials for Thursday 4/26 at 4:00 pm in our usual classroom.
(Note earlier time than normal class meeting time)
Bring a pink scantron. Folks at the grading center claim scantron forms are distributed free at SGA. They are also available commercially. The format of the final is 40 multiple choice problems.
Please be on time. Latecomers can not be given extra time since we
must vacate the room for the next class.
Everything regarding grading remains as described on the syllabus. The score on your final exam will replace your lowest progress test score provided the former is higher. In that case it will effectively count twice;
once as the final and once as a replacement for a low test. If the final exam
score is lower than all your progress tests it will be counted only once.
There are no new topics for the final exam. What you should know and what
skills you should have were described earlier on the study checklists. There are no new topics but you are responsible for everything from earlier in the course.
It is recommended that you start
reviewing topics from your lowest test(s) first.
All scores and current grades are posted outside CH 332 and were updated after each test so you should already know your current grade for the course. Please do not ask what score you need to make on the final or if it is possible to improve, etc. You already have all the information and are free to calculate a best-case scenario assuming you score 100% on the final.
The exam will be graded electronically ASAP. The instructor does not control that. Once final exam scores are available the instructor will compile course grades and submit them to the Registrar ASAP no later than noon 5/3/12. Course grades should appear online soon after that. All scores might be posted in hardcopy outside CH 332 as usual if possible but that is uncertain.
Best wishes for a successful
conclusion to the semester.
