Central Florida Rowing receives only a fraction of its budget from the University. As a result, our team requires a total commitment to fundraising the money we need to fulfill our needs for the entire race season. Dues and fundraising efforts cover the costs of travel, entry fees, equipment, coaches, and many other expenses necessary to run a successful rowing team. We have several fundraising programs in place for the 2007-2008 season:

Citrus Bowl Concessions - We operate concessions at the Citrus Bowl for football games and other events.

Rent-A-Rower - This is a way to help people complete those nagging tasks around the house. The Rent-A-Rower fundraiser has proven to be a great way for us to complete repairs and pay for other expenses that come up through the year. If you are interested in having the team work on something that you need done, Contact Us and we will accommodate you fully. Our rates are $60 for 4 hours of work per rower and $100 for 8 hours of work per rower. (See Flyer for details!)

Erg-A-Thon - The rowers will be erging 1000 meters for ever $5 that is pledged to the rower. If you are interested in donating to the team, feel free to pick a rower off of the roster and Contact Us to let us know how much you would like to donate.

• One 15 hp outboard motor - $1500
• Yearly payment on the KnightLight II 8+ - $4600
• Rental vans for out of state regattas - $2400
• Trailering, launch fuel, misc parts/supplies - $1200
