Lake Fairview:

"The Anti Rush Hour Way" or the "I don't own an E-Pass way"

    **No Tolls
  • Take University North (away from Campus).
  • Take a RIGHT onto Hall Rd. (3rd light after going under 417).
  • From Hall Rd turn LEFT onto Aloma. (there is a light).
  • Take Aloma all the way down until it ends and turns into a fork in the road. (you will go through Rollins).
  • At the fork stay to the right and go onto Fairbanks Rd. Continue down Fairbanks Rd until it ends at Edgewater Dr. (you will go under I-4).
  • Turn RIGHT on Edgewater Dr. (there is a light).
  • Turn LEFT onto Lee Rd. (there is a light) Stay in the left hand lane on Lee Rd.
  • On your right you will see Trotters Park and on your left you will see baseball fields. Turn LEFT into the 2nd left turn lane that you see!
  • You will see a sign for Lake Fairview Park. Turn into the park. When you turn into Lake Fairview Park there will be a brick parking lot.
  • On the far back left of the parking lot you will see 2boathouses. ORC is the boathouse on the left.

The "Fast Way" or the "I own an E-pass Way"

    **Tolls
  • Take 408 West Towards Orlando Take I-4 East. Go 6 exits to Exit 88, Lee Rd.
  • Turn LEFT at the light at the end of the ramp. Go down Lee Rd past Edgewater Dr. After Edgewater Dr. you will see on your right Trotters Park and on your left you will see baseball fields.
  • Turn LEFT into the 2nd left turn lane that you see! You will see a sign for Lake Fairview Park. Turn into the park.
  • When you turn into Lake Fairview Park there will be a brick parking lot. On the far back left of the parking lot you will see two boathouses.
  • ORC is the boathouse on the left.

"The Long Way" or "The Expensive Way"

    **Tolls
  • Take 408 West to John Young Parkway. (past I-4). At the light at the end of the ramp take a RIGHT.
  • Go down John Young Pkwy until it turns into Lee Rd. As soon as John Young turns into Lee Road on your right you will see Lake Fairview park.
  • Turn into Lake Fairview Park. When you turn into Lake Fairview Park there will be a brick parking lot.
  • On the far back left of the parking lot you will see two boathouses. ORC is the boathouse on the left.

Race Site Directions

Southern Sprints - Melbourne, FL

The Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championships are held on the Melbourne campus of the Florida Institute of Technology in the Charles and Ruth Clemente Sports and Recreation Center.

  • Take I-95 South in Brevard County to Exit 180 (Old 71), the interchange for US 192. The US 192 interchange of I-95 is about 25 miles south of the Beeline interchange.
  • Turn LEFT at the exit ramp, onto US 192, then go about five miles.
  • Turn RIGHT on Babcock Street and go about a mile.
  • Turn RIGHT on University Boulevard and enter the Florida Tech campus.
  • There is plenty of parking available on either side of University Boulevard. The Clemente Center is on the south side of the street.

Metro Cup - Winter Park, FL

  • From UCF, go down University Blvd. to Semoran (SR436).
  • Turn RIGHT on Semoran, go to the next stop light at Aloma Ave.
  • Turn LEFT on Aloma, go to Lakemont Ave.
  • Turn RIGHT on Lakemont, go down a few blocks till you see Lakemont Elementary School.
  • Park at the school, there will be a shuttle service throughout the regatta for transportation to the race site.

FIRA State Championships

  • Take I-4 West towards Tampa.
  • Take Exit 7 (Old 6, or 6A) to US 301 North. This is the first exit past I-75.
  • Drive north on US 301 about a mile. You will pass a Union 76 truck stop and a traffic light.
  • Entrance to the site will be on your right, at Mike's Bar-B-Q.

Hatter Classic - Deland, FL

  • I-4 East to Exit #114(SR 472W)
  • Turn LEFT onto SR 472W. Go 2.9 miles
  • Merge RIGHT onto 17/92N. Go 1.6 miles
  • Turn LEFT onto FI-15A (Spring Garden Ave.). Go 2.7 miles
  • Turn LEFT onto New York AVe(SR 44W). Go .7 miles
  • Veer LEFT onto OLD New York (CR4110) (Amtrak sign)
  • Go 1.8 miles (past the Amtrak station; past a convenience store)
  • Turn LEFT onto Hontoon Rd. Go 1.5 miles
  • Turn LEFT into 1889 Hontoon Rd.
  • Continue STRAIGHT into the driveway and follow signs

Fall FIRA and Keuper Cup - Fellsmere, FL

  • Take I-95 South (Melbourne is South of Orlando)
  • Take Exit 173 (Malabar Rd)
  • Go LEFT coming off the ramp, heading East, on Malabar Rd.
  • Go 0.25 miles to Babcock St. (CR 507)
  • Turn RIGHT and go South on Babcock St. (CR507) for approximately 11 miles.
  • Immediately after crossing the C-54 Canal bridge, turn RIGHT on Fellsmere Grade Rd
  • Follow the signs for parking
If you cross into Indian River County you have gone to far.
