Welcome everyone to my Spades tournament at Excite.com! This tournament will be held every Sunday at 1 p.m. EST/EDT in Sharks' Den 3. Below you will see the rules that you must set for each round. The rules are as follows: There will be at most 32 teams competing in this event. The rounds will be non-rated, but before the round begins, I will compile the average rating of the two players on each team to determine their respective rankings and to determine the matchups. And I will post these matchups to my website. At the end of each round the winners will report to me the final score so I can post it to the website. Also, do not go and play until your matchup appears on the homepage. One last thing I must state is that since these rounds are non-rated, cheating is not necessary. It is you and your partner's skill that helps you win the tournament. If your team does cheat and are caught in the act, you will be eliminated from the tournament. Cheating includes talking the table, or using applications like IRC, ICQ, or AOL IM to discuss strategy. Also there is no prize for the winners anyways, this is for fun and to meet new friends.
