Remote Access | Must Visit OCLS Library | Duplicated at UCF
The local public library, Orange County Library System (OCLS), provides subscription access to a number of databases which are not available through the UCF Library. Using these databases remotely or by visiting the public library branches usually requires that the user have an OCLS library card.

Auto Repair Reference Center contains automobile repair information for over 23,000 vehicles. Every major manufacturer for domestic and imported vehicles is represented with auto repair information, including some makes and models starting as far back as 1954. This easy-to-read, illustrated repair information is written specifically for the do-it-yourselfer. Also included are technical service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and labor time estimates.
Chapter a Day - Online Book Clubs - every weekday morning, a portion of a book is emailed that takes about five minutes to read. After reading two or three chapters, users can finish a book by checking it out of the library.
Classical Music Library - Classical.com is a streaming classical music service that includes more than 10,000 music recordings that you may listen to from your computer. It also includes extensive program notes, composer biographies and images.
Consulta is comprehensive Spanish-language database which includes award-winning reference books and a wide range of journals.
Countrywatch includes political, economic, and geographic information for 192 countries. Also includes country news and maps.
Dun & Bradstreet International Business Locator provides access to over 28 million public/private companies in over 200 countries. Provides key business data including full address information, SIC / line of business details, business size (sales, net worth, employees), names of key principals and identification of this location's headquarters, domestic parent company and/or global parent company.
Ferguson's Career Guidance Center - Career exploration for students or career changers. Profiles more than 2,000 jobs in 90 industries with information on job descriptions, duties, work environment, salary range, employment prospects, training and education required, advancement opportunities, and more.
HeritageQuest Online is a genealogy database that contains U.S. Census images from 1790 through 1930. Also includes searchable text of more than 25,000 genealogy books.
Learnatest is an online database that supplies practice examinations for a variety of tests. Through individual accounts, library access, as well as remote access, one can prepare for exams, score those practice tests and keep track of one’s progress. Learnatest offers a wide range of tests, including the Florida Real Estate exam, FCAT practice for 4th, 5th and 8th grades, as well as GED preparation and college entrance exam practice.
Live Homework Help provides online, interactive help from qualified tutors for students in grades 4 through 12. The 20-minute sessions are in English or Spanish and offer expert help in math, science, social studies or English.
