• Source List identifies over 5,600 sources available in LexisNexis Academic and links to the appropriate search form for each title.

• Searchable Directory of Online Sources can be searched to identify publications by geography and frequency from more than 36,000 sources, but the LexisNexis Academic database available to UCF users provides access limited to the full text or abstracts from approximately 5,600 of the 36,000 sources.

• Academic Universe URL Makers automatically create cut and paste URL's which retrieve some individual LexisNexis Academic news articles. The created URL in a document (e.g., bibliography or course syllabus) will pull up a pre-filled out form so that a user need only click on SEARCH to retrieve the article.   Now available for Campus News (Chronicle of Higher Education & University Wire) and for Law Reviews. • Other Tips:

  "atl3(orlando)" requires that the word "orlando" must appear At Least 3 times in the article.

  "length>500" requires that the article contain more than 500 words. 

  Use Guided Search whenever it is available to get the most control over the search and look at the bottom of the search form page for examples of using AND, OR, AND NOT, w/n, w/p, w/s, etc.
