- Citation Management Options include EndNote and
RefWorks.
- Columbia International Affairs Online is designed
to be the most comprehensive source for theory and research in international
affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes
working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series
from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from
conferences.
- Ethnic NewsWatch is a full-text collection of the
newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press.
Includes articles, editorials, columns, reviews, etc. and provides a broad
diversity of perspectives and viewpoints.
- Gale Virtual Reference Library provides the full
text of some encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for
multidisciplinary research, including Cities of the World, Countries
& Their Cultures, History Behind the Headlines, and Worldmark
Encyclopedia of the Nations.
- Handbook of Latin American Studies is a
bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by
scholars.
- Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI)
provides authoritative, worldwide information about Central and South America,
Mexico, the Caribbean basin, the United States-Mexico border region, and
Hispanics in the United States. From analyses of current political, economic,
and social issues to unique coverage of Latin American arts and letters, HAPI
Online contains complete bibliographic citations to articles, book reviews,
documents, original literary works, and other materials appearing in more than
500 key social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.
- ˇInforme! indexes Hispanic journals and
magazines, mostly in Spanish with some English.
- LexisNexis Academic – The Guided News Search
provides access to Non-English Language News from sources in Dutch, French,
German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as World News from worldwide
sources in English.
- LexisNexis Statistical – Statistical publications
of international intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) are essential sources
of basic information on the nations and regions of the world. They provide
answers to both general and specific questions concerning population; business
and financial activities; international trade; education; health; and other
economic, demographic, and social matters.
- Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts assists
both generalists and specialists in keeping abreast of cutting-edge
developments in disciplines concerned with the nature and use of language. The
database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics,
phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Complete coverage is also given
to various fields of linguistics including descriptive, historical,
comparative, theoretical and geographical linguistics.
- Netlibrary provides over 46,000 full text ebooks,
including volumes from the World Bibliographical Series.
- PAIS International indexes articles, books,
conference proceedings, government documents, book chapters, and statistical
directories about public affairs.
- Political Risk Yearbook Online contains unbiased
detailed political risk assessment for 100 strategic countries based on the
research & knowledge of political & economic analysts & consultants. Includes
social & economic conditions, business climate, forecasts, trade information &
more.
- STAT-USA -- GLOBUS & NTDB provide current and
historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade
opportunities, country analysis, and the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).
- United Nations Treaty Series provides over 40,000
treaties and international agreements published by the Secretariat since 1946.
- World News Connection provides full text
English-language translations or summaries of newspaper articles, television
and radio broadcasts, periodicals, conference proceedings, and reports. Strong
coverage of local media sources. Created by the Foreign Broadcast Information
Service (FBIS).
- xreferplus provides the full text of some
encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for
multidisciplinary research, including: Collins World Atlas Gazetteer,
Philip's World Geo-Factbook, and an implementation of the CIA World
Factbook which allows the user to create customized tables of data.
