- ABI/INFORM (ProQuest database)
provides in-depth coverage of business conditions, trends, corporate strategies and
tactics, management techniques, competitive and product information, and a wide variety of
other topics. It gives you informative indexing and substantive abstracts to articles from
more than 1,000 leading business and management publications, including over 350
English-language titles from outside the U.S. Provides access to the full
text, page image of articles from over 600 journals. Dates of coverage:

Resource Center (GaleNet
database) is a fully integrated resource bringing together company profiles,
brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories,
chronologies and periodicals. Predicast's PROMT, Newsletters ASAP and
Thomson Financials' Investext Plus databases are fully integrated in this
database. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news
and information.
- Business Index (WebLUIS Index)
contains citations to articles in over 800 journal titles including business, management,
and trade journals; some 80 regional and local journals and newspapers; and
business-related articles from over 3000 other publications. Includes topics such as
business, management, industry, world affairs, case studies, technology, and industry
profiles. Provides access to ASCII full text
of some articles. Dates of coverage: 1982+
- Business Source Premier
(ESCOhost database) provides abstracts and
indexing for over 2,200 scholarly journals covering business, management,
economics, finance, banking, investment, and more. Also offers full text
for over 250 journals with many dating back to 1990. Includes coverage of
peer-reviewed journals.
- Hoover's Online
provides directory information, brief histories and financials on companies,
industries, people and products.
- Moody's Company Data--FIS
Online
provides financial and general background information, including income
statements, balance sheets, cash flow, long term debt and links to Edgar
(SEC) documents, on over 10,000 U.S. public corporations. Covers current 5
years for most data.
- NetAdvantage
(Standard & Poor's) provides full text of many of the S& P products.
- Political Risk Yearbook Online
contains unbiased detailed political risk assessment for 100 strategic countries based on
the research & knowledge of political & economic analysts & consultants.
Includes social & economic conditions, business climate, forecasts, trade information
& more. Data is updated annually in January.
- Reuters Business Insight
provides market research and business reports covering consumer goods,
energy, finance, healthcare, and technology industries.
- STAT-USA (U.S. Dept of Commerce)
- State of the Nation provides current and historical economic and financial
releases and economic data. GLOBUS & NTDB provide current and
historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities,
country analysis, and the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).
- Universe Databases: Academic Universe
provides more than 9.5 million documents from over 18,300 sources, including access to
company profiles and financial reports, government transcripts, trade journals and
academic and legal databases. Their files are updated with full-text
documents from general interest wire services, newspapers, and magazines from around the
world. Statistical Universe provides the full text of Statistical Abstract of the U. S.,
plus indexing and abstracts (with some full text available) from American Statistics
Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and Index to
International Statistics (IIS). Congressional Universe gives
researchers access to vast and varied information published by and about Congress,
including full text of almost all Committee
Reports from 1990 forward and Congressional testimony from 1988 forward, and indexing
& abstracting from the CIS/Index to Publications of the U.S. Congress from 1970
forward.

- Dissertation Abstracts
(FirstSearch database) covers every doctoral dissertation completed in the U.S. at
accredited institutions for the last 150 years. Includes some master's theses and foreign
language dissertations. Dates of coverage: 1861+
- FactSearch (FirstSearch database)
is a guide to statistical statements on current social, economic, political, environmental
and health issues, derived from some newspapers, periodicals, newsletter and documents
such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Congressional Record,
Congressional hearings, Daily Press Briefings of the White House, State Department
and Department of Defense, and Australian, British and Canadian Parliamentary Debates.
Web links to free full text are included frequently.
- JSTOR provides full text, page image from over 100 scholarly
journals, including Journal of Money, Credit & Banking
(1969-1996) and Journal
of Business (1922-2001).
- netLibrary provides
approximately 20,000 full text ebooks for previewing or 2-hour
checkout.
- Science Direct provide the
electronic full-text version of
approximately 650 of Elsevier's research journals, including approximately 85 economics
and business titles.
- Sociological Abstracts (Cambridge
Scientific Abstracts database) is a primary resource from an international selection of
over 2,600 journals and other serials publications, plus conference papers, books, and
dissertations. Dates of electronic coverage: 1963+ The UCF Library has the print
indexes at Index HM1.S67 for 1953+
- Web of Science - ISI Citation
Databases collectively index more than 8,000 high quality, peer-reviewed journals
cover-to-cover, providing users with complete bibliographic data, searchable author
abstracts when available in the science and social sciences source material, and cited
references from the world's most influential journals. Dates of coverage:
1965+
- WorldCat (FirstSearch database)
is the world's most comprehensive bibliography, with 36 million bibliographic records
representing 370 languages and covering information from 4,000 years of knowledge.
