• Business Index (WebLUIS database) contains citations to articles in over 800 journal titles including business, management, and trade journals; some 80 regional and local journals and newspapers; and business-related articles from over 3000 other publications. Includes topics such as business, management, industry, world affairs, case studies, technology, and industry profiles. Provides access to ASCII full text of some articles. Dates of coverage: 1982+

• Academic Index (WebLUIS database) indexes articles in approximately 1000 scholarly journals and popular magazines in the arts, humanities, social sciences, science and technology. • Universe databases (CIS/Lexis-Nexis) - Academic Universe provides more than 9.5 million documents from over 18,300 sources, including access to company profiles and financial reports, government transcripts, trade journals and academic and legal databases. Their files are updated with full-text documents from general interest wire services, newspapers, and magazines from around the world, including foreign language resources. Statistical Universe provides the full text of Statistical Abstract of the U. S., plus indexing and abstracts (with some full text available) from American Statistics Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and Index to International Statistics (IIS).  Congressional Universe gives researchers access to vast and varied information published by and about Congress, including full text of almost all Committee Reports from 1990 forward and Congressional testimony from 1988 forward.

• World Law Index (Eureka database) - Index to Hispanic Legislation, contains records describing the national laws, decree-laws, regulations, etc. taken from official legal gazettes of 29 countries studied by the Hispanic Law Division of the Library of Congress Law Library. These include the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America, plus Haiti, Brazil, the Philippines, Portugal, Spain, and nations from the Portuguese-African region. Dates of coverage: 1976-1997. • Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (Eureka database) - Contains citations from legal journals and other publications covering international law other than the US, British Isles and British Commonwealth. Dates of coverage: 1985+

• Global Legal Information Network (Library of Congress) - provides a database of laws, regulations and other complementary legal sources for various countries of the world.

• Index to Legal Periodicals & Books (FirstSearch database) - Articles from legal journals, yearbooks, institutes, bar association organs, law reviews, and government publications originating in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.   Dates of coverage: 1981+
• FactSearch (FirstSearch database) - is a guide to statistical statements on current social, economic, political, environmental and health issues, derived from some newspapers, periodicals, newsletter and documents such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Congressional Record, Congressional hearings, Daily Press Briefings of the White House, State Department and Department of Defense, and Australian, British and Canadian Parliamentary Debates. Web links to free full text are included frequently.
• Social Sciences Abstracts (FirstSearch database) - Covers some 350 core periodicals in the fields of anthropology, economics, geography, law and criminology, political science, social work, sociology, and international relations. Dates of coverage: 1983+
• WilsonSelect (FirstSearch database) - Contains indexed and abstracted articles from periodicals, all with ASCII full text online. The database includes records from the following H.W. Wilson databases: Readers' Guide Abstracts, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts. Dates of coverage: 1994+

• PAIS International (FirstSearch database) - Indexes articles, books, conference proceedings, government documents, book chapters, and statistical directories about public affairs. Dates of coverage: 1972+

• ABI/INFORM (ProQuest database) - provides in-depth coverage of business conditions, trends, corporate strategies and tactics, management techniques, competitive and product information, and a wide variety of other topics. It gives you informative indexing and substantive abstracts to articles from more than 1,000 leading business and management publications, including over 350 English-language titles from outside the U.S. Provides access to the full text, page image of articles from over 600 journals. Dates of coverage: 1971+

• Britannica Online (Encyclopedia Britannica) - The online version of the encyclopedia Includes maps, articles, and statistics on individual countries, and weekly background articles for news and current events.
