provides in-depth coverage of business conditions, trends, corporate strategies and
tactics, management techniques, competitive and product information, and a wide variety of
other topics. It gives you informative indexing and substantive abstracts to articles from
more than 1,000 leading business and management publications, including over 350
English-language titles from outside the U.S. Provides access to the
full
text, page image of articles from over 600 journals. Dates of coverage:

- Business & Company Resource
Center (Gale database) provides company profiles, brand information,
rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies, and periodicals
articles covering company and industry news. Reports and forecasts prepared by
top Wall Street and international brokerage firms. More than 11,000 U.S. and
international companies and 53 industries are covered. Includes PROMT,
Newsletters, and Investext Plus.
- Business Source Premier (EBSCOhost
database)
provides full text for nearly 3,300 scholarly business journals, including
full text for more than 1000 peer-reviewed business publications. Coverage
includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database
provides full text (PDF) for more than 300 of the top scholarly journals
dating as far back as 1922.
- Columbia International Affairs Online
is designed to be the most comprehensive source for theory and research in international
affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes working
papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs,
foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences.
- Corporate Affiliations
Online provides online access to the Directory of Corporate
Affiliations with information about more than 174,000 parent companies,
affiliates, subsidiaries, and divisions - all the way down to the seventh
level of reporting relationships.
- DataMonitor Library Service
(Reuters database) provides international market research covering 6 sectors:
automotive; consumer; energy; financial services; healthcare and technology.
- Dissertation Abstracts
(ProQuest database) covers every doctoral dissertation completed
in the U.S. at accredited institutions for the last 150 years. Includes some
master's theses and foreign language dissertations. Dates of coverage: 1861+
- EconLit (EBSCOhost database)
provides subject indexing and abstracts of journals and over 500 collective volumes per
year, plus books, dissertations, and working papers, covering capital
markets, econometrics, economic forecasting, government regulations, labor
economics, monetary theory, urban economics and more.. Dates of coverage: 1969+
- FactSearch (FirstSearch database)
is a guide to statistical statements on current social, economic, political, environmental
and health issues, derived from some newspapers, periodicals, newsletter and documents
such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Congressional Record,
Congressional hearings, Daily Press Briefings of the White House, State Department
and Department of Defense, and Australian, British and Canadian Parliamentary Debates. Web links to free full text are included frequently.
- Gale Business Resources (GaleNet
database) contains detailed information on 448,000 U.S. and international companies,
thorough histories and chronologies of major companies, and in-depth coverage of over
1,000 major U.S. and global industries including full-text
essays, rankings, market shares, trade and professional associations, and statistical
analyses.
- JSTOR provides full text, page image
from approximately 300 scholarly
journals, including International Economic Review (1960-1998), Journal of Money, Credit & Banking (1969-1997),
Journal of Political Economy (1892-2000) and Journal
of Business (1922-2001).
- LexisNexis
Databases: Academic
provides more than 9.5 million documents from over 18,300 sources, including access to
company profiles and financial reports, government transcripts, trade journals and
academic and legal databases. Their files are updated with full-text
documents from general interest wire services, newspapers, and magazines from around the
world. Statistical provides the full text of Statistical Abstract of the U. S.,
plus indexing and abstracts (with some full text available) from American Statistics
Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and Index to
International Statistics (IIS). Congressional gives
researchers access to vast and varied information published by and about Congress,
including full text of almost all Committee
Reports from 1990 forward and Congressional testimony from 1988 forward, and indexing
& abstracting from the CIS/Index to Publications of the U.S. Congress from
1789
forward.
- netLibrary provides over
30,000 full text ebooks for previewing or 2-hour
checkout.
- PAIS International (FirstSearch
database) indexes articles, books, conference proceedings, government documents, book
chapters, and statistical directories about public affairs. Dates of
electronic coverage: 1972+ The UCF Library has the print indexes at
Index H1.P8 for 1915+
- Political Risk Yearbook Online
contains unbiased detailed political risk assessment for 100 strategic countries based on
the research & knowledge of political & economic analysts & consultants.
Includes social & economic conditions, business climate, forecasts, trade information
& more. Data is updated annually in January.
- Science Direct provide the
electronic full-text version of
approximately 650 of Elsevier's research journals, including approximately 85 economics
and business titles. Dates of coverage: 1997+
- Sociological Abstracts (Cambridge
Scientific Abstracts database) is a primary resource from an international selection of
over 2,600 journals and other serials publications, plus conference papers, books, and
dissertations. Dates of electronic coverage: 1963+ The UCF Library has the print
indexes at Index HM1.S67 for 1953+
- STAT-USA (U.S. Dept of Commerce)
- State of the Nation provides
current and historical economic and financial releases and economic data. GLOBUS & NTDB provide current and
historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities,
country analysis, and the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).
- Wall Street Journal (ProQuest
database) Online full text access is 1982+. Microfilm full text is
available by title in the Newspaper files, 1925+. Bound paper index covers
1958+ [Index HG1.W26]
- Web of Science - ISI
Citation Databases collectively index
more than 8,000 high quality, peer-reviewed journals cover-to-cover, providing
users with complete bibliographic data, searchable author abstracts when
available in the science and social sciences source material, and cited
references from the world's most influential journals. Dates of coverage:

- WorldCat (FirstSearch
database)
is the world's most comprehensive bibliography, with 36 million bibliographic records
representing 370 languages and covering information from 4,000 years of knowledge.
- World News Connection
provides Full text English-language translations or summaries of newspaper
articles, television and radio broadcasts, periodicals, conference
proceedings, and reports. Strong coverage of local media sources. Created by
the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS).
