Criminal Justice Periodical Index (ProQuest database) indexes over 230 U.S. and international criminal justice journals including information for professionals in law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law, and industrial security. Available in print INDEX HV6001.C754 from 1975 to Sep 1998. Available electronically 1981+.
Criminal Justice Abstracts (CSA database) indexes the major journals in criminology and related disciplines, books, and reports from government and non-governmental agencies. Dates of coverage: 1968+
LexisNexis Databases - Academic provides more than 9.5 million documents from over 18,300 sources. Lexis-Nexis Universe provides access to company profiles and financial reports, government transcripts, trade journals and academic and legal databases. Their files are updated with full-text documents from general interest wire services, newspapers, and magazines from around the world. Congressional gives researchers access to vast and varied information published by and about Congress. Congressional has full text of almost all Committee Reports from 1990 forward and Congressional testimony from 1988 forward. Statistical provides the full text of Statistical Abstract of the U. S., plus indexing and abstracts (with some full text available) from American Statistics Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and Index to International Statistics (IIS).
Academic Search Premier (EBSCOhost database) provides abstracts and indexing for over 3,200 scholarly journals covering the social sciences, humanities, education and more. Also offers full text for over 1,000 journals with many dating back to 1990 or earlier. Includes coverage of over 1,700 peer-reviewed journals.
Infotrac Onefile indexes articles in approximately 1000 scholarly journals and popular magazines in the arts, humanities, social sciences, science and technology. Abstracts are included for some articles. Provides access to full text of some articles. Dates of coverage: 1980+
Omnifile (Wilson database) contains indexed and abstracted articles from periodicals, some with full text online. The database is comprised of records from the following H.W. Wilson databases: Readers' Guide Abstracts, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts. Dates of coverage: 1983+
