Luminarias

Thousands of candles lighting the night at UCF Arena Track – each one in tribute to a cancer patient. What an inspirational sight. Candles displaying the names of all those being remembered and honored will be lining the track at 9:00 pm on Friday, April 2. This will be a meaningful ceremony. We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s event by having a candle lit in memory of a loved one lost to cancer or in honor of a survivor. Starting, April 2nd, and continuing through Saturday, April 3rd, teams from local businesses, organizations, religious affiliations, and hospitals will be walking and running around the UCF Track, to help combat cancer. Please join us in lighting the way in the fight to Conquer Cancer.

Our Luminaria bags are decorated by elementary school children and then a label is added to either honor or remember someone due to the fight against cancer. If you would like a luminaria lit in honor or in remembrance of someone you know please complete the luminaria form.
