Style Guide and Grading Criteria
UCF has a module on Avoiding Plagiarism which can be accessed here. I strongly advise you to review it and take the quiz, and see me with any questions.
(Note: the module uses MLA (parenthetical) style citations. This style is not acceptable in my courses. However, the basic concepts are the same).
There is also a module on evaluating websites. If you plan on using the web, review this module to avoid potential problems with usage and citation
(as well as the pitfall of using a middle school student's website as a source for a college term paper!).
