Would I qualify for Project LEAD?

Admission Requirements

Since project applicants are also seeking admission to the Ph.D. Education - Exceptional Education Program they must qualify for graduate admission to the university. The requirements include:

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the last 60 hours
  • Master's degree in Exceptional/ Special Education or related area from an accredited institution
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on all graduate work at the time of application
  • GRE score required
  • Three years full-time teaching or comparable experience
  • Approval of Exceptional Education Doctoral Admissions Committee
  • Positive recommendation for admission by the Advanced Graduate Admissions and Retention Committee
