Return to Parking main pageFollowing the guidelines listed below will help you avoid receiving a citation while parking at UCF.

Do not:

Park without a parking permit.
Park with a permit not properly displayed in full view with all information clearly visible according to UCF permits mounting instructions (vehicles with car covers are not excluded from this requirement).
Park with an invalid permit. A parking permit is invalid when it is canceled, illegible, altered, or used by an unauthorized person. A permit will also become invalid if the holder is found to be ineligible due to falsification of application information or failure to notify Parking Services of any change in residence, enrollment status at UCF, or any other factor that effects parking eligibility.
Park at any time within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant, fireplug, or block a fire lane.
Park at any time at a red curb or other curb designated "No Parking."
Park in a metered space when time has expired, when violation is displayed, or when parking meter is inoperable.
Park at any time in a time-controlled zone beyond the appropriate time limit including:
a) loading zones -a specific loading zone permit is required for non-university vehicles.
b) any parking other than that indicated on your permit.
Park at any time in violation of any posted signs.
Park at any time in an undesignated area, including aisles and other non-marked parking areas.
Park at any time in a designated or "Reserved" area with out authorization.
Park with a permit or pass that has been reported lost or stolen.
Park with a permit or pass that has been reproduced, counterfeited, or is otherwise a facsimile.
Park at any time in a space or area posted for disabled parking without a valid DMV disabled placard or disabled license plate, and a valid UCF disabled parking permit.
Park more than one vehicle on campus at the same time using permits issued to the same person (i.e. second decals) unless all permits were purchased at full-fee or unless authorized by Parking Services.
Repair a vehicle on campus at any time other than in an emergency or unless otherwise authorized.
Camp in a vehicle at any time unless authorized by Parking Services.
Park a vehicle on campus displaying improper DMV registration tabs including no month and/or year sticker, stickers damaged or illegible, or expired registration tabs.
