This course is intended to present an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary overview of critical issues in aging. In this study of aging, or gerontology, subject matter will be drawn from numerous disciplines in an attempt to explore the complex issues of aging both in terms of current challenges as well as future prospects. Although research-based information will be presented, there will also be a focus on exploration of issues and controversies in the field of gerontology.
