Welcome to the Moroccan American League,
Whether you were born in Morocco, have visited Morocco, or never heard of it; whether you were born in America, have visited America, or …hum…I am pleased that you are taking this opportunity to learn more about the UCF chapter of MORAL!
The University of Central Florida constitutes a solid ground for advocating diversity and multiplicity. We at MORAL are using that ground to import, introduce and promote the different facets of the Moroccan culture. Similarly to America - but at a smaller scale, - Morocco is a hot spot and a melting pot of numerous sets of traditions, each originating from one of the great civilizations that flourished in it. Still, as a developing country, Morocco is faced with many difficulties that limit its full emergence and growth. In relaxed-atmosphere meetings, we are willing to discuss those difficulties, educate ourselves on how previous patriots were able to overcome them, and research ways to implement the solutions. MORAL also holds numerous workshops, whose purpose is to expand the learning horizons of its members in a wide range of topics.
We are hoping that, through a combination of fun, educative and engaging events, MORAL’s UCF chapter will create a bridge between the university’s Moroccan community and their fellow students from other backgrounds, and we are counting on you to contribute to our success.
Once again, thank you for your interest in the Moroccan American League. I hope to see you soon.
Ouns Mouri
President of MORAL, UCF chapter
