The "Sharing the Wealth" conference is coming up soon, Jan 27-29. This event creates excitement for your profession and provides experience all at once!! Prepare now by planning your work schedule. The PE Major's Club will cover the cost of rooms and admission for 30 members only. The club now has 18 members. Become a club member and sign up for Jekyll to take advantage of the benefits. The deadline for the conference sign up is Wed, Nov 24th. To be paid for, members must sign the conference sign-up sheet in Dr. Mitchell's office or email the club at pemajors@pegasus.cc.ucf.edu.
There is a mandatory pre-planning seminar for all spring 2000 senior interns. The meeting will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, at the Education Building gym, from 9 to 11 am.
Another date to remember. The scheduled time for orientation is Wednesday, Jan 5th at the UCF Arena from 8:30am to 12noon. This meeting is mandatory.
T-shirtsare available through the club or Dr. Mitchell's office. They are great for internships and football games, pick yours up today. If you have paid your dues and are unable to come to the meetings, please notify an officer for arrangements.
Deadlines for internship portfolio revisions will be extended to Dec. 10. The portfolio must be resubmitted to the Physical Education faculty member who originally reviewed it. Good Luck.
