    Organization, practice, and implementation of health (including drug abuse) and physical education programs in the elementary school. Includes field experience.

    This course is designed to prepare the Wellness practitioner to be able to deal with issues as they relate to children's wellness. An in depth review of current research and writings will be required. The total development of the child will be examined from every perspective of the child's well-being with an emphasis on physical activity.
