Levester Tubbs is a professor in Educational Leadership (Higher Education/Student Personnel) in the College of Education. Dr. Tubbs received his B.S. degree from Allen University, M.S. degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and Ed.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was former Vice President for Student Affairs at UCF from 1980-1998.
Prior to joining the administration at UCF, Dr. Tubbs was Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He also served as Director of Development and Dean of Students at Lincoln University, Missouri; Associate Director of the Thirteen-College Curriculum Project at A. & T. State University; Dean of Men, Allen University; and teacher of mathematics, Palm Beach County Schools.
Aside from organizational memberships, he also serves on numerous university committees, local boards, state commissions, and has published several articles in professional journals and textbooks.
