| The
purpose of the SAPEE unit is to do everything possible to stop substance abuse, especially
driving under the influence, in the university community. The program began in January of 1999. The program consists of a unit of two officers under the direction of a sergeant. The SAPEE unit will target DUI's, underage drinking violations, false identification cards and all other substance abuse violations |

| The main goal of the unit will be to identify students in need of assistance with their substance abuse problems and get the the education they need to help themselves. |
