The Annual Delta Zeta Omega St. Valentine's Day
Date Auction to Support the
Amy Kuritar-Lohrmann Memorial Scholarship
ΔΖΩ Chapter participated in a Date Auction to
raise funding for the Amy Kuritar-Lohrmann Memorial Scholarship. Amy
Kuritar-Lohrmann was
a Graduate of UCF and a Member of Lambda Alpha Epsilon, who was killed by her
husband in a Domestic Violence related Murder-Suicide.

In her memory the
ΔΖΩ chapter has started a
scholarship in her name to assist criminal justice students.
On hand each year are several of Amy's co-workers from Seminole County Probation. During the auction, nearly a dozen dates are auctioned off to participants. Several door prizes were given away including gift certificates and calendars from local businesses. Also auctioned off in a silent auction were gift certificates to local restaurants. A special thanks to all the businesses that gave gift certificates to ΔΖΩ for this event.
