Kelvin Moves "Up" In the World November, 2004 - Orlando, FL In a scene reminiscent of "The Jeffersons" television show, Kelvin has been "moving on up" lately to deluxe accomodations in the "Partnership 2" building adjacent to UCF in the Central Florida Research Park. Kelvin and a few other Course Development & Web Services (CDWS) staff have relocated to the second floor alongside UCF's Center for Distributed Learning where Kelvin will continue his role as an assistant director of CDWS while serving as the point person for UCF's fledgling Partnership for the Advancement of Distributed Learning (P-ADL). P-ADL's focus is on advancing the state of the art in online learning through research and development project partnerships with other educational, governmental, military, and industry organizations. After three years in the basement of UCF's main library, Kelvin is reportedly quite happy with an entire wall made of a window.     Return to Halfbaked Headlines
