Thompsons Debut Christmas "Movie" During Holiday Gathering December, 2004 - Winter Springs, FL Although there has been no "Oscar buzz" surrounding the showing, the Thompsons' Christmas gathering (one of the "A list" social events of the season) was the site of a rather unique holiday screening. The various families who came to the Thompson house for Christmas dinner were invited to submit photos of Christmases past. Kelvin and Wendy combined all their photos along with other seasonal photos into a slideshow that looped on the TV screen when the guests arrived and continued on through dinner accompanied by Christmas music. New photos were taken during the gathering and added "on the fly" to the running slideshow. Those whose photos appeared onscreen were delighted by the familiar faces, while those who were unable to provide photos said that they wished they had.
