Thompsons Track Ritchies Across Two Countries July-August, 2003 - El Paso, TX and Orillia, ON It took travelling over 3700 miles, but the Thompsons tracked down the far-flung Ritchie clan. Figuring that after eight years of marriage it was safe to introduce Kelvin to the rest of her extended family, Wendy took him on two trips this year to find almost all of her relatives. After a fairly tame warm-up trip to visit her Aunt Ginger and cousin Jeff and his wife Betty in El Paso, Wendy unleashed Jeff's siblings, Eric and Gigi, and Aunt Muriel and Uncle Bob on a visit to Orillia, Ontario for Eric's wedding to his new wife Leslie. Leslie's family were delightful. Experiencing a large number of those with Ritchie genes helped Kelvin understand Wendy far better than before.
