Thompsons Narrowly Escape Death At Sea October, 2002 - The Caribbean Reports of deadly contagion on cruise ships have been widespread in recent months. Kelvin and Wendy narrowly escaped being another statistic. With reminders posted everywhere for passengers to wash hands frequently to prevent spreading the Norwalk virus, the Thompsons nevertheless had fun traveling to Nassau in the Bahamas aboard one of the Disney Cruiseline's luxurious ships, S.S. Wonder. As Wendy reported, "Apart from a little queasiness from the bumpy ride the first night, there was no horrendous vomiting or diarrhea." What more can one ask from a luxury cruise?
