Thompson Leaves Teaching for "Cush Job" September, 2001 - Winter Park, FL Tired of working hard for a living in the classroom, Wendy has parlayed her impending Master's degree (see related story: Counseling) into a new "cushy job." Coworkers say that she plays on the computer, serves candy, and goes out to lunch, but Wendy says she actually has meetings to conduct occasionally too! "When you are in the classroom, you're not able to do any of the things at work that others take for granted." - Wendy Thompson "Its so weird. I had a meeting off-campus, and we stopped for lunch. I was like why aren't all these people at work? When you are in the classroom, you're not able to do any of the things at work that others take for granted," commented Wendy.
