Kelvin Leaves Job, Becomes COPP April, 2000 - Orlando, FL Despite nearly two successful years as an instructional designer for UCF's Course Development & Web Services unit, Kelvin Thompson has stepped aside in order to take a position as a COPP. Kelvin's new role as Coordinator of Professional Programs (COPP) requires him to still work closely with the Instructional Design Team as he oversees the development of new professional development opportunities on campus. Kelvin is also working to promote UCF's professional development courses to other institutions. As COPP, Kelvin's office is jokingly decorated with law enforcement paraphernalia, while two of his colleagues (nicknamed COWS and COD) have bovine and fish decorations. Despite their penchant for interior design, Kelvin and his collegues insist that they surprisingly still manage to get work done. |
