Winter Springs Couple Form Commune August, 2000 - Winter Springs, FL The neighbors may wonder why all the cars are parked outside the Thompson residence every Thursday night, but certainly they would be unprepared for the goings on taking place inside the house. This past August, Kelvin and Wendy Thompson opened their home up to those interested in forming a small group [read more about the group] to foster "communion with God and community with a small group of others." By all accounts the group is a success thus far. "Well, they keep showing up every week," said Kelvin. Wendy added, "I think it's because we make sure that there's always lots of chocolate available." "I think it's [successful] because we make sure that there's always lots of chocolate available." - Wendy Thompson Regardless of the reason, the small group will continue meeting in January as they finish discussing The Sacred Romance: Drawing Closer to the Heart of God. A new topic will be chosen by the group after this book is finished.
