"Elderly Man" Forced to Paint Thompson House March, 2000 - Winter Springs, FL
In what is suspected to be another example in the increasingly disturbing trend of elder abuse, an elderly man was observed being forced to paint the Thompson house under the blazing Florida sun.
The man, who has been identified only as "Frankie" apparently drove to the Thompson home of his own free will, but his trip turned into hard labor as he proceeded to stay for two days while being forced to paint from dawn to dusk. Observers admitted that they had no evidence of abuse, but were quick to point out that no sane senior citizen would stay and paint someone else's house. When questioned, Kelvin Thompson refused to comment on the question of elder abuse. He is quoted as saying, "But the house sure turned out great. Didn't it??" The light gray stucco with the dark green wood accents is particularly striking. |
