I graduated from the University of Central Florida on
Friday December 13, 2002. Earning a degree from the College of Business
Administration (CBA) in the field of
Management Information Systems. I was an active
member in the over 100 man, Beta Eta
chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha International
Fraternity at the University of Central Florida. I held leadership positions
ranging from social chairman to President. I was actively involved in the
community in philanthropy events benefiting many local and national
organizations such as:
- The North American Food Drive
- The Bread of Life Food Bank, Oviedo Florida
- Second Harvest Food Bank
- Children's Miracle Network
- Ronald McDonald House
While at UCF I worked Part time for AT&T
Wireless. I highly recommend this
type of employment to any student attending UCF or any of the local community
colleges. The benefits they offer far surpass that of the majority of employers
found in
the greater Orlando area for college students. At the time I was employed there
they offered benefits such as:
- Tuition Reimbursement
- FREE Wireless Service
- Quarterly and Annual Bonuses
- 20-29 hour per week work schedules
In addition to all of this I was also granted an internship opportunity with
ORACLE the worlds leading database software
development and support corporation. While at Oracle I was able to become familiar with different types of corporate
culture and business environments outside of what I had previously been used to.
I was also
able to enhance the information and skills I acquired while attending UCF.
Prior to attending UCF I lived in a small town in Torrington
Connecticut and attended
Torrington High School from which I graduated in 1998. While attending THS I
was actively involved in community service activities, Track and Field and the
Swim Team. |
