Philosophia: The search for and discovery of causes

Scientia: The firm possession of certain knowledge (based on first principles)

Doctrina: Communication of knowledge by the master

Disciplina: Spiritual relationship between the master and the pupil

Ars: The method of exposition and the technique of a science

Facultas: The faculty of elocution and expression, the alertness of mind and the resources to be drawn from a science (the "wealth")
