Doctrinal Statement
![]()
*
The Holy Bible
is eternal. The Word of God is applicable to people of the
past, present and future. The Bible is not restrained to a certain time.
The Bible is the standard by which human conduct, and opinions should be
based on and judged according to.
*
The Word of God
should go into all the world and be given priority in every believer's
life (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; and 2 Peter 1:19-21).
*
There is one God
revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Ghost which makes up the Holy Trinity
(Matthew 3:16,17; 1 John 5:6,7).
*
Man, in his natural
state, is filled with lustful desires of sinful human nature which he is
called to repent.(Romans 3:19-23; Galatians 3:22; Ephesians 2:1,2,12).
*
Man can only be
saved by the grace of Jesus Christ who died on the cross at Calvary and
rose on the third day. Salvation comes through repentance for all sin and
a personal, heartfelt faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is
possible only through God's grace, not by our works. Works are the
fruit of salvation (Acts 3:19,20; Romans 4:1-5, 5:1; Ephesians
2:8-10).
*
Water
baptism should immediately follow as
a public witness to one's faith, it is done in accordance to
God's command, and it is for all believers. (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38).
*
There is only
one Body of Christ, which is made up of all who have
been saved by the grace of God. Each individual of the church is called
into ministry directed by the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:34,35; 1 Corinthians
12:12-31).
*
It is by the sacrifice of
Jesus Christ on the Cross that all may be saved. (Acts 4:12; Romans
4:1-9, 5:1-11; Ephesians 1:3-14).
*
Jesus
Christ rose again on the third day.
(Luke 24:39-43; John 20:24-29).
*
Christ
Jesus ascended to the Father and is
presently engaged in building a place for us in His
Kingdom and interceding for the saints (John 14:2,3; Romans 8:34).
*
Christ
Jesus will return to this earth, to meet His Church (Bride) and to judge
the
world (Acts 1:10,11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10;
James 5:8; Revelation 1:7).
*
There is a literal Hell for
the unsaved and a literal Heaven for the saved (Matthew 25:34,41,46; Luke
16:19-31; John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15).
*
The Holy Spirit is
the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit gives conviction of sin,
regenerates the repentant believer, guides the believer to truth, indwells
all believers, and give spiritual gifts to those who minister to others.
The manifestations of the Holy Spirit is still seen in believers today as
recorded in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 (Luke 11:13; John 7:37-39, 14:16,17,
16:7-14; Acts 2:1-18).
