Article I
Name
Section I:
This organization shall be known as the University of Central
Florida Student Chapter, hereafter called the "Chapter",
of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE).
Article II
Objectives
Section I:
To promote and encourage an understanding and application of engineering
ethics and principles.
Section II:
To represent the body of Industrial Engineering and Management
Systems (IEMS) students, of the University of Central Florida,
in all campus activities.
Section III:
To develop an active interchange of information between faculty
and students of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems.
Section IV:
To disseminate technical, scientific, and professional information.
Section V:
To strengthen Industrial Engineering skills taught in the curriculum
by having technical paper competitions, activities, seminars,
and plant tours for members.
Article III
Membership
Section I:
All members shall be active members.
Section II:
All students of the College of Engineering and students pursuing
a pre-engineering curriculum at the University of Central Florida
shall be eligible for membership.
