Keynote Speaker Colleen Coffey
This year's keynote speaker is Colleen Coffey. Colleen is an inspirational survivor of eating disorders, anxiety and depression as a high school and college student. Her struggle even resulted in hospitalization when she was in the 9th grade.
These days, Colleen has found a way to treat the disorders and find a healthy balance in her life. She is visiting UCF to send out a message of hope and inspiration to all who will listen and is known as an entertainer, charmer and inspirational survivor.
Also, she is co-author of the book, "I heart recruitment: The Eight Steps to Limitless Possibility for Sororities," which is a book to teach recruiters how to achieve higher quantity and quality pledge classes.
Colleen has worked full time as the Program Manager for The Leadership Institute - Women with Purpose, Inc. and as a speaker for “The Heard,” The National Mental Health Awareness Campaign’s speaker’s bureau.
She graduated from Belmont University in 2003 and achieved an M.S. in College Student Affaires from Eastern Illinois University in 2006.
