August 26, 1998 -
Alcohol And Rush. A discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of
having alcohol at Rush Functions. Video:20/20 - Drowning in a Sea of
Alcohol.

September 2, 1998 -
Discussion on why we have Risk Management and why we need Risk Management.
Video: MTV video on campus riots over Alcohol Free Housing

September 9, 1998 -
Training Day for Gamma Reps. Learn all of the responsibilities of being a
Gamma Rep. Also you will learn all the rules and regulations that our
organizations must follow when holding a social event.

September 16, 1998 -
Hazing: Part 1: The determental effects of sorority hazing. Workshop and
video on the effects that hazing has on new sorority members.
Video: Friendly Fire: Friends Hazing Friends (sororities).

September 23, 1998 -
Hazing: Part 2: The determental effects of fraternity hazing. Reach visits
us for the first time this semester with the new Greek Peer Education
Program gets under way with this very interactive workshop on the
determental effects of fraternity hazing.

September 30, 1998 -
Drinking and Driving: A workshop on drinking under the influence. Sergeant
Emert, known around UCF for his high numbers of pulling over those who
drink while under the influence, will speak on the dangers of drinking and
driving and tell stories of encounters that he has had with those who have
broken the law.

October 7, 1998 -
Bad PR and how to deal with it:
Very interactive workshop that involves groups forming there own
fraternities and sororities for a day, and dealing with questions from a
nagging press, newspaper group, that doesn't think very highly of the
greek system.

October 14, 1998 -
Consent to Sex
Reach presents this
workshop about date rape in today's society. They put on
a sketch to let you determine when consent to sex
has occured. Join us in this important discussion. 

October 21, 1998 -
Body Image:
Reach joins us for the third time this semester in this workshop on Body
Image. How do we look at people in today's society? How do we look? How do
we think people want us to look? Find out at today's Gamma meeting. 

October 28, 1998 -
Alcohol Free Housing:
You've heard about it. Now lets talk about it. Greek Peer Education will
go over a number of slides on potential benefits of alcohol free housing.
Then you can decide for yourself if we could function as a system, as a
dry system.

November 4, 1998 - 
Get a Job: Steps towards your graduation The Career Resource Center comes to
the Gamma meeting to talk about the ways they can help you
with getting a job after you Graduate. This may very
well be the most important hour you ever sit through.
The CRC helps you see the light at the end of the tunnel
as they work very closely to every company you may ever
want to work for.

November 11, 1998 -
Alcohol Abuse:
Reach joins us once again for this look at the dangers of binge drinking.
We'll go over the 3 P's, and how you help save your friends life if he or
she drinks to much. This is what Gamma is all about.

December 2-
Reviw/Discussion:
The semester in Review. What we have done and what we have learned.
Materials for Gamma meetings will be passed out for the Spring semester
and thank you party for all of Gamma Reps and Gamma Exec will be held
today during the Gamma Meeting. Have a great holiday and see you next
semester.
