Dive Club Information

The Dive Club is one of the most active dive organizations in the Central Florida area, as well as one of the largest clubs on campus. Our purpose is to plan dive-related trips easily suited for student's schedules and budgets.

The Dive Club has some equipment of its own, such as BC's, regulators, tanks, and one underwater camera that can be used by members for a small maintenance fee during dive club trips. Some equipment purchase was made possible by SGA funding. Therefore, only UCF students can use this equipment.

We try to have a minimum of one planned dive per month. We are highly active in two Florida research programs, plus our own ongoing efforts. We dive all over Florida including the Keys and freshwater springs. Most of our dives are discounted at least 15%. Some dives - beach dives for example - are free, except for gas, food and beverage. Some dives in the past, such as research dives and reef cleanup dives are paid for, in part, by UCF Student Government (students only). If you are interested in the club, please attend a meeting and/or e-mail the Dive club at UCF requesting to be placed on our e-mail list.
