Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Planning, implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting, adjusting, publishing and communicating production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of all customer orders;
  • Expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and facilitating weekly production schedule meetings;
  • Analyzing sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements to ensure Raydon’s ability to effectively allocate and schedule parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations and workflow to meet the demands of the sales orders;
  • Examining, improving, streamlining and standardizing procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates work processes;
  • Interfacing (collaborating, troubleshooting, reporting and partnering) with Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing personnel (and key personnel in other functional organizations, as required) on material status and production planning issues; and
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

 

Minimum requirement:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Seven years of experience in Production Control in roles of increasing responsibility;
  • Five years related experience involving the development of Integrated Master Schedules, MRP, and Supply Chain Management;
  • APICS certification or must obtain certification within 12 months of employment;
  • Strong team collaboration and problem solving skills;

·          Strong communication skills are a must, both written and oral; and

·          Microsoft Excel and Project proficiency.

 

 

 

Preferred qualifications include:

 

  • Previous experience with Deltek Cost point
  • APICS certification – Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Newport Television’s FOX 30 WAWS-TV, CBS47 WTEV-TV and MY Network Stations are looking for our next award winning producer. If you want to produce visually compelling newscast on television, the web a mobile platforms while living in a sunny beach climate, we have the job for you. You will join a morning team that includes two other producers, a writer and an executive producer.

 

Requirements:

 

 

·         Someone who lives for breaking news, know how to capture emotion and can produce newscast that drive ratings.

·         Someone who can work well under deadline pressure and has experience in all facets of media.

·         You must have flexibility to work nights, weekends and changing schedules.

·         Someone with the skills and vision to produce both day-to-day news and special programs and projects for all our platforms.

·         You should have strong broadcast and AP style writing skills and be proficient at posting content to web sites.
